Chickpea Mash

This recipe is totally delicious and totally easy. It’s also very addictive, I found myself going back for seconds and thirds. If you want to try a more nutritious side dish other than mashed potatoes this is it. This chickpea mash is creamy and full of flavor. The perfect side dish with bbq or fried oyster mushrooms.

1 can chickpea drained and rinsed

3 garlic cloves

2 tbsp nutritional yeast

1/2 tsp salt

2 tbsp stick butter

1 tbsp plain plant based milk

Warm chickpeas in the microwave for 1 minute. Place all the ingredients in a food processor. Blend till smooth.
