Seitan Street Tacos with Tomatillo Salsa
Mexican Street Tacos are full of flavor, texture and spice, it keeps you coming back for more. That’s what I did with these seitan tacos. The seitan is perfectly seasoned and delicious. They’re perfect for weeknight dinners and taco nights, also for get togethers with family and friends.
1 8 oz package traditional seitan strips (Sweet Earth brand)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp better than bouillon sautéed onion
1 tbsp grape seed oil
1 tsp liquid smoke
corn tortillas
cilantro for garnish
In a skillet place oil and seitan strips, allow to heat about 1 minute. Add garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, liquid smoke and bouillon. Stir to combine ingredients allow to brown.
In a seperate skillet heat and lightly brush with oil. Place the corn tortilla and warm both sides. Remove and assembly your taco drizzle with *roasted tomatillo salsa.
