Homemade French Toast

I truly thought I would never be able to eat french toast again. Thanks to Just Egg all have changed now. French toast have always been my favorite brunch meal. This recipe is super easy and delicious. Your vegan and non vegan friends and family will love it.

1 cup plant based milk

1/2 cup JUST EGG brand vegan egg

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp sugar

1 tsp vanilla

1 tbsp butter or 1/2 1 tsp grapeseed oil

maple syrup

Your favorite bakery day old bread

In a large mixing bowl add the milk, vegan egg, cinnamon, vanilla and sugar. Stir well to combine. Cut your bread into slices about 1/2 an inch thick. Place the bread into the milk and egg mixture allow to sit for 3-5 minutes to absorb.

On medium heat add butter or oil to a non stick skillet.

Place the soaked bread into the hot skillet, allow to brown on both sides. Remove from the skillet and place on a serving plate drizzle with maple syrup, add your favorite fruit and enjoy.
